When pet owners choose Atlanta Animal Allergy and Dermatology, they know that they are choosing us because we can help their pet's dermatology or feline hyperthyroid needs.
We are a full time veterinary dermatology clinic. Every day Dr. Mary P. Schick, DVM, DACVD and her skilled team of veterinary technicians put their knowledge, experience, and love for animals to work so that pets receive access to the most advanced treatment options available. With a world-class, technologically-advanced veterinary dermatology clinic located in Roswell, we are ready to help all of our patient’s needs.
If your cat has Feline Hyperthyroidism, the Feline Radiotherapy Treatment Center located in Atlanta Animal Allergy and Dermatogy can help. Injected Radiotherapy is the safest and most effective method of treatment for feline hyperthyroidism. In this non-invasive treatment, the hyperthyroid cat s injected under the skin with radioactive iodine (Radioiodine or I-131). The radioiodine then seeks and destroys abnormal thyroid tissue without endangering other organs, allowing the thyroid gland to return to normal function.
We See Patients from All Over the World. While many clients are from the metro Atlanta area, Atlanta Animal Allergy and Dermatology sees animals from all over the United States, and even has pets which travel to us from international destinations.
Atlanta Animal Allergy and Dermatology is a small animal specialty hospital. We are open Monday through Friday and closed on weekends.
